Cal Fire approved CEU's
1. Installation Training (.03 CEU)
* The BlazeMaster® Installation training runs approximately 3 hours with breaks included and will guide participants through the correct process of installation for a BlazeMaster® CPVC Fire Protection System. The course covers the basics of applications, pipe storage and inspection, proper solvent cementing processes, testing, and special listings. Upon completion of the course, performing a solvent cemented joint, and passing a written exam each participant will be mailed a training card and certificate indicating that they have successfully completed the BlazeMaster® CPVC installation course.
2. CPVC Fire Sprinkler Systems in Commercial Applications (.01 CEU)
*This course explains how CPVC Fire Sprinkler Systems can be installed in Commercial Buildings including listings & approvals, advantages over steel system and installation information.
3. The Science of Solvent Welding (.01 CEU)
* This course explains how solvent welding works, the factors that can affect proper specification and application of solvent cements and the fundamental differences between a solvent weld and a glued joint.
4. CPVC Fire Sprinkler Systems (.01 CEU)
* This course covers the codes, standards and listings necessary for CPVC fire sprinkler systems. The course also reviews the types of fire sprinkler systems in which CPVC pipe and fittings may be used. Attendees will also review the design parameters and installation principles unique to CPVC fire sprinkler systems.
Registration will begin at 8:30am with instruction beginning at 9:00am
