CAL OSHA, What you need to know

Sacramento Valley AFSA will be holding our 3rd Quarter members dinner meeting on Wednesday, August 30th at the Wyndham Hotel in Sacramento off of Madison and I80. 

We are fortunate to have as our speaker, Gary McIver Jr., CSP, Senior Safety Engineer Cal/OSHA Consultation.

Gary will be sharing a general overview of what they look for on a jobsite, what they often see done incorrectly and the proper way to do it.  He will discuss things specific to our trade such as aerial work, lifts, ladders, etc. and heat related safety.

We will begin the evening with our traditional happy hour at 5pm and then dinner and the meeting at 6pm.
